Send a Kid to Camp!

Wellesley Friendly Aid is dedicated to giving children from low-income families in Wellesley enriching summer camp or academic experiences. This program is solely funded by donations, with a major gift from the Wellesley Service League.  These donations have provided need-based scholarships to children and teens who might be otherwise homebound for the summer.  Camp provides outdoor activities and the opportunity to learn lifelong  skills, with an opportunity to build connections with others.  It's fun!

100% of your donation goes to tuition for the K-7 Wellesley Recreation summer camps and other local day camps.

►Your generous contribution to our Camp Fund will ensure that every eligible child will get to attend camp.

►We expect to provide at least 60 camp scholarships this summer.  We gave scholarships to 65 children last summer.

►Wellesley Recreation Department camps are the top choice.

►We having been sending children to camp since 1942.  Please help us continue this program so children can continue to enjoy the many benefits of camp.
